When I went to my pediatrician for my annual check-up in June before 6th grade (2014). I didn't know what scoliosis was at the time, so I heavily relied on Google to learn more about it. In July, I went to an orthopedist to get a proper diagnosis. He confirmed that I have scoliosis, and suggested that I get a brace.
